Rhododendrons with Outstanding foliage:

Bear in mind that for 11 months of the year you have only the leaves to enjoy. Happily many rhododendrons have outstanding foliage and Glendoick have specialised in raising plants with outstanding foliage effects. Many varieties have coloured young growth which can be as spectacular as flowering. Many have a covering of silvery or brown hairs on the leaves known as indumentums, which can give a long-lasting attractive effect.
