Hedging Plants

Bareroot hedging is the cheapest and best ways to plant hedges and screens. Beech, privet, blackthorn and lots more.

Seed Potato

Bedding

Primroses are finished for Spring 2020. Pansies, violas, Bellis, Senetti and first sweet peas are available now. Waiti till late April for summer bedding. It is too cold to plant this out till May.

Climbers

Clematis, ivy, honeysuckle, virginia creeper and lots more for walls, fences and pergolas.

Conifers

Tough evergreens which provide structure and colour year round. From tiny alpines to the world's tallest and largest growing trees.

Fruit Trees & Bushes

Apples, pears, cherries and soft fruit: gooseberries, currants and Aronia.

Grasses

Great winter interest from Miscanthus, Pampas... never been more popular. If you have not tried one yet...

Heathers

Heaths flower in Spring, Heathers in summer. Classic Scottish plants.

Herbaceous

Herbaceous or perennial plants should come up year after year. Most die back in winter.

Herbs

Hardy herbs: 1 litre in stock now. March-April (May) is the time to plant.

Roses

We have 30 varieties in stock. Shrub roses, NT, Floribunda and climbers. Get them in in March-April and May so they flower really well.

Shrubs

Mainstay of the garden. Provide structure, flower, foliage and shelter from wind. Great for wildlife. And for privacy.

Trees

Trees are for marking dates, for structure, for wildlife for shelter and for making a statement. Plant them in Spring and for your children...

Rhododendrons & Azaleas

Glendoick's world famous speciality. Dwarf rhododendrons in April-May and azaleas in May-June. Tough easy and lots to choose from. May bred at Glendoick.
