Spectacular creamy-yellow flowers in April. Newly-introduced species with fine foliage. Hardy at Glendoick; completely undamaged after 2009-10 and 2021 winters. Hardier than macabeanum or sinogrande so best choice for colder gardens. Threatened in the wild in Vietnam.

LARGE LEAVED SPECIES FALCONERA; GRANDIA 3-5m+ Trees-forming with large handsome leaves with indumentum. Flowers in big trusseswhitepinkpurpleyellow. Magnificent foliage plants but they do require some wind shelter.

Collection 1st October to 31st March orders must be placed on our webshop and choose collection date giving 7-10 days notice. Min Order £50 ex vat

Collection 1st April to end of September please email gardencentre@glendoick.com with list of plants you want. Not all catalogue plants are stocked. If you give 7 days notice we can bring stock down from the nursery if available.
