Rounded trusses of crimson flowers in February-March. One of the finest early-flowering species- best suited to sheltered gardens. Handsome foliage with indumentum. Rarely offered and only collected a handful of times.
ARBOREA SS Long-lived trees or large shrubs- magnificent in full flower, with flowers in fine rounded trusses, usually red, pink or deep lilac, Feb-April. A great choice for moderate climates.
