Pink to rose- early. Fine dark foliage with unusual persistent bud-scales. Slow growing. Very rare Tibetan species only the second introduction from Kenneth Cox. Grows better than the original L&S specimens.

LARGE LEAVED SPECIES FALCONERA- GRANDIA 3-5m+ Trees-forming with large handsome leaves with indumentum. Flowers in big trusses, white, pink, purple, yellow. Magnificent foliage plants but they do require some wind shelter.
