Genus Azalea

1-2m+ x 1.2m+. H5-6. Most deciduous azaleas are very tough (H5-6) and wind/exposure tolerant. Cut back to keep them in bounds. Autumn colour. Deciduous azalea species have more subtle (than the hybrids); often scented flowers. Many late flowering.
