Pale pink with purple rim: banded. Best in peaty soil in full sun. Prune to rejuvenate with age. Glendoick speciality.
Kalmia latifolia, the Calico Bush. Coloured buds like miniature parasols open to flowers in May-June-July; long flowering. Glossy-leaved evergreen. Best in a peaty soil and full sun to bloom freely. Hard prune to keep compact if it outgrows its space. Ht 1-2m in 10 years. Very tough H5-6.

Collection 1st April to end of September please email gardencentre@glendoick.com with list of plants you want. Not all catalogue plants are stocked. If you give 7 days notice we can bring stock down from the nursery if available.
