Glendoick's world famous bird hybrids are dwarf compact rhododendrons bred from 1960 to the present day by Peter and Kenenth Cox. The Bees are the American Equivalent by Warren Berg. 15cm-1m H3-5 Low-growing alpines, ideal for small garden, rock garden or raised bed. For larger displays plant in clumps to form a carpet. Very free flowering, dense growers. Best grown in the open, away from the drips of trees. In warmer and more southern climates, best in part-day shade.
