This section contains hybrids mainly grown for their spectacular flowers.
Most grow 2m x 2m or more in 10-20 years and the larger ones can attain well over 4m x 4m at maturity.
H5 hardy hybrids will generally take exposed sites and do well in cold gardens.
H4 varieties can suffer wind damage and bark split if not given some shelter.
H3 varieties generally need sheltered woodland conditions outside mild areas.
There are other varieties available in small quantities; see annual price list.
